How to get a sandhills Community Care Licence

A new community care licence has been approved for the area of Sandhills, south of Perth, for the next four years.

The community’s resident physician and the community’s nurse practitioner are to apply for a licence to operate in the area.

A Sandhils Community Care Resident will be appointed for each new licence holder.

The licence holder will be responsible for the operation of the community care facility and for monitoring its services.

They will also need to maintain a minimum of four patients and the patient population of the Sandhillas Community Care Clinic, which will have to meet minimum standards of care.

A licence holder must be at least 18 years old and must demonstrate good health, behaviour and character.

They must also demonstrate a demonstrated ability to meet the health and safety requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2010.

The person holding the licence will be required to pay the Health, Safety and Security (HSS) charges imposed on the local community service provider (LSCP).

The health and social care costs incurred by the licence holder’s family members will also be reimbursed.

The Sandhalls community is a large rural community with a population of over 2,500 people.

It covers an area of about 300 hectares and is located about 1.5 kilometres north of the city of Ballarat.

Residents are required to register to vote in local and state elections, but are not required to enrol in any other government or public sector services.

Residents of Sandhurst can register to enrol for their community care services through the community portal.

Sandhims Health and Welfare Minister Steve Johnson has welcomed the move.

“The Sandhilies community is one of the safest communities in Western Australia and is the site of the largest community hospital in the state.

It is critical that we ensure that residents are provided with quality health care services, as well as support services to ensure they are able to continue to maintain their current lifestyle,” he said.

“With the launch of the new licence for Sandhams Community Care, I have encouraged residents and local residents to apply to the Sandharris Health and Welfare Department for a community care license to operate their community service.

I look forward to working with the Sandhartis Government and the local authorities to make sure Sandharms community is treated with the utmost respect and that all residents and residents of Sandhill can continue to receive the highest standard of care.”

The Sandhill Community Health and Social Care Association also welcomed the decision.

“We look forward that the Government will work with the community to make Sandhists community care community-based health and welfare services safe and appropriate,” said Association president Michael Jones.

“In the coming months we will be looking to make the necessary changes to ensure that all Sandhicans are safe and supported in the community as they transition into the new years.”

Sandhill residents have been campaigning for the community licence for more than a year.

On September 14, the Community Care Residents Association, a local association of residents and carers, hosted a town hall meeting and a community meeting, held on September 25, at the Sandhill community centre.

During the town hall meetings, Sandhill residents were able to speak about their concerns, share their concerns with the local government and ask questions to health and other officials.

On October 10, the local residents, who are all members of the Australian Medical Association (AMA), met with the Health Minister to share their feedback on the Sandhog Health and Disability Support Services Plan, which includes a Community Care Facility Licence for Sandhill.

The health minister is currently reviewing the plan and may recommend to the local council that the licence be approved.

“Our members are concerned that a licence would be given to a private company, which is not the right role for Sandhog Community Care Services,” said Mr Jones.
