‘It’s been heartbreaking’: Family says they’re still dealing with grief after their 4-year-old son’s death

A 4-week-old boy died after being taken from his parents in a crash near Laguardía, Mexico, on Monday.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the baby was in a crib with his parents when a pickup truck pulled alongside their vehicle.

The parents got out of the vehicle and were able to help the baby, but the driver of the pickup truck continued to drive and crashed into the back of the family’s SUV.

The infant died in the crash.

According the Los Angles Times, a child care facility in the city of Lago Domingo is offering counseling for the family, with the mother receiving $30,000.

The facility said the child was placed in a foster home, which is not legal under the state of Mexico.

“It’s very hard to understand how a child can be put in such a terrible situation, and it’s even more difficult to understand why a child is still suffering,” the father, who is not being identified, said.

“We have to ask ourselves why the state is taking this kind of risk.

We are doing everything we can to get this right.”

The truck driver is currently being held at the county jail on charges of murder and aggravated assault.
