By TULSA TRIBUNEA – Aug 11, 2018 8:03:00The bus service for students at Johnston Community College and the University of South Florida has been restored after an outage that disrupted the school’s bus service on Monday, the university said.
The college, the University at Tampa and the Tampa Bay Times were among more than a dozen public and private institutions that received bus service during the outage.
The university also said its student health center will continue to provide health care and support services.
It’s not clear how many students were affected.
The Johnston School of Education, which opened in 1929, is a nonprofit for low-income students.
Johnston has 1,000 students in its freshman and sophomore classes, and its enrollment has steadily grown over the past decade, with about 2,500 students enrolled in the fall term.
