What is it about New York City’s homeless?

The homeless population in New York is staggering, with more than 200,000 people currently living in tents or makeshift encampments.

In January, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that the city would spend $15 million to help people with mental health issues, including drug and alcohol addiction.

But the number of homeless people has not budged, according to the New York Times.

“They’ve kind of been sitting here since January, waiting for a little bit of a push from the city, to make a dent in the homeless population,” said Sarah Bronson, who manages the city’s homeless outreach program.

The Times reported that New York has spent about $200 million in the last decade on homelessness, but that’s still not enough.

“The city has been spending way too much on the homeless,” said Bronson.

The number of people living on the streets has also increased over the last two years, and homelessness rates are higher than they’ve ever been, according a report from the Urban Institute.

The city is now responsible for more than 80 percent of the citys homeless population.

“We are not going to be able to get people into homes until we address the root causes of homelessness,” said Mayor de Blasio.

Bronson said the city needs to address mental health problems as well as drug and opioid addiction.

“There is an enormous gap in mental health services in New England,” said New York State Representative and homeless advocate, Liz Dines.

Dines said the lack of treatment options for those living on NYC streets is also a problem.

“It’s a crisis,” said Dines, “and the city has to get the resources to address that.”

The homeless crisis in New Jersey has been on the rise for years.

According to the NJ Spotlight, the number and type of homeless in the state has tripled since 2014.

“In 2017, the state had 2,800 people living in homeless shelters,” said Chris Gillett, director of housing and community services for the Department of Community Affairs.

Gillets work includes managing mental health treatment, providing housing support, and coordinating services for homeless New Jerseyans. “

With the increase in homelessness, the NJ Crisis Team, which is part of the Department’s Office of Behavioral Health and Human Services, is on top of managing the crisis.”

The state of New Jersey currently has about 675,000 homeless people, according the Department for Community Affairs, which says the number has been increasing in recent years.

“Everywhere we look, there are more people in need of help,” Gillethts director of homelessness said.

“This is a big problem, but we’ve got to address it.”

According to a report released by the New Jersey Coalition for the Homeless, there were 634,818 New Jersey residents living in temporary housing in the spring of 2018, compared to about 3,400 in spring of 2017.

That’s a 7 percent increase.

“People are in crisis,” Gilett said.

The majority of the people living behind bars are white, and those are people who were released from prison or jail in the past 12 months.

“For people of color, the majority of those folks are white and they’re locked up,” Gilleyts director said.

For the city of New York, the numbers show that the homeless are actually more visible.

According the New Yorker, the city recorded a total of 6,837 homeless people in 2018.

The report found that about 7 percent of those people were white.

That percentage is up from 5 percent in the first quarter of 2018.

“If you look at the city and the suburbs, you see a lot more people of the color,” said Gillehts director.

The New York city has seen the increase of its homeless population over the past few years.

The numbers of homeless New Yorkers have grown in recent decades, with some estimates suggesting that the number peaked in 2015 at 2.2 million.

Many people in New Yorks homeless crisis are working-class and the homeless have been known to fight for social justice.

“A lot of people are working class, people of different colors, and they are the ones who are being targeted,” Gilaert said.

Some people who have been on drugs have been arrested more often than others, with a large number of arrests made on New York’s Upper West Side and West Village.

According a recent report from CNN, the U.S. has more homeless people living off of food stamps and public assistance than any other state.

“I can’t even begin to tell you how many times people are caught stealing from people,” said James, a man who asked that his last name not be used for fear of retribution from his family.

“You see people that are out there stealing, you’re going to have to be careful,” said the homeless man.
